DESCRIPTION: Kpangnan is the butter from the African Butter Tree (Pentadesma butyracea) which grows in the gallery rainforests and riverbank forests in West Africa. Kpangnan contains high amounts of vitamin A and stigmasterol, a natural skin firming agent, which is an unsaturated plant sterol.

Kpangnan butter is similar to both shea and cocoa butters.
