Our Virgin Coconut oil is made using machinery to obtain the oil and is produced under strict quality control procedures and certified organic by the Soil Association. Our Virgin coconut oil is NOT made from copra, but from fresh coconuts which are processed as soon as they have been harvested. Once the oil is extracted there is no further processing, Akoma’s coconut oil is simply raw.
There no boiling or heating which destroys many nutrients; the coconut oil obtained this way is considered to carry less health benefits. Ours is packed full of healthy nutrients!

Akoma Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
I'm African and this coconut oil takes me back to childhood days of eating & drinking coconut milk. I lived in the city mind you but coconut trees grow everywhere. This actually smells like REAL coconut. I even licked some to taste... LOL - couldn't help it. Different to what you'd have been used to as being coconut oil from any old shop. GR8!

Akoma's virgin coconut oil is working wonders in treating the skin ailment i have: keratosis pilaris. It helps in soothing the affected area and is enabling my skin to "breathe" for the first time in ages which then decreases the severity of my keratosis pilaris. This coconut oil is wonderful!!!
