DESCRIPTION: Our Virgin Coconut oil is made using machinery to obtain the oil and is produced under strict quality control procedures and certified organic by the Soil Association. Our Virgin coconut oil is NOT made from copra, but from fresh coconuts which are processed as soon as they have been harvested. Once the oil is extracted there is no further processing, Akoma’s coconut oil is simply raw.
There no boiling or heating which destroys many nutrients; the coconut oil obtained this way is considered to carry less health benefits. Ours is packed full of healthy nutrients!
