The Asanka: Ghanaian Grinding Pot (Large) with Wooden Grinder & Cover offers a traditional and effective method of grinding with its earthenware material and accompanying tapoli.

The traditional clay pot, known as Kaaa by the Ga people and apotoyewaa or asanka by Akans in the Ashanti region of southern and central Ghana, is a staple in Ghanaian culture.

Cleaning Instructions: Wash the Asanka thoroughly with warm soapy water and bristle brush, before the first use then after every use to clean out any food residue that may be stuck between the grooves. Make sure pot is dry before storing away.
