As we take the safety and well-being of all our staff, customers, suppliers and all those who are part of supporting Akoma we wanted to update you with what Akoma is currently doing with regards to COVID-19 Coronavirus as it impacts our daily lives.⁠

We are still open for business and orders are currently being processed and dispatched. There may be a slight delay as we process your orders due to the ways we are currently working. ⁠

THE WAY WE ARE WORKING⁠
We are following Government Guidelines and placing emphasis on the Health and Safety of all our staff, customers, partners and the like. This includes our team in Ghana and the members of the Akoma Co-Operative. We take the wellbeing of all seriously, and our priority. We have the recommended procedures in place, staggering shift patterns and remote working has been applied. ⁠

Akoma has always followed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring high-quality standards in handling all our products. Also, having the Organic Certification, we have always complied with the Soil Association Cleaning Standards. We not only ensure we are all compliant with wearing and using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning/disinfecting all surfaces, equipment and utensils before, after and anything in between, but use approved cleaning products that are kind to our environment. ⁠
