ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
Gari is a food staple used in West African countries such as Ghana. It is made from cassava root that is dried and ground into a flour, similar to couscous or breadcrumbs, giving it a slight crispy texture. Gari does not need much if any cooking as it has been cooked during the process of preparing it. In order to prepare Gari, it just needs moistening similar to the way you make couscous.
SUGGESTED USE:
Can be used as a side dish instead of rice, flavoured with salt or sugar, or evaporated milk making it a sweet snack.
