ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

Gari is a food staple used in West African countries such as Ghana. It is made from cassava root that is dried and ground into a flour or into a grainy texture, similar to couscous or breadcrumbs, having a slight crispy. Gari does not need much if any cooking as it has been cooked during the process of preparing it. In order to prepare Gari, it just needs moistening similar to the way you make couscous. 

SUGGESTED USE:

Can be used as a side dish instead of rice, flavoured with salt or sugar, or evaporated milk making it a sweet snack.
