Following the latest developments regarding COVID – 19, Akoma remains open online 24/7 and is continuing to process and send out your orders.
Also, we continue to ensure the safety and well-being (including our mental health) of all our staff, customers, suppliers and the women of the cooperative.
You will be able to place your orders as normal, as they will continually be processed and dispatched. There may be a slight delay so please allow some extra time to receive your delivery. If you opt to receive tracking information, please wait for the full delivery time to receive updates from the courier or post office.
If you choose to click & collect from our warehouse in Derby, one of our staff will contact you to agree on a convenient time for you to collect your parcel (during our operating times).
How we are currently working
We are working staggered shift patterns and remote working will continue where applicable. Therefore, please allow extra time for us to respond to your inquiries.
Emails will be responded to within 48 hours and telephone support is available Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 13:00 hrs.
Please remember Akoma has always followed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring high-quality standards in our operations. Also, having the COSMOS and Vegan Certifications, we have always complied with the required Cleaning Standards.
All Akoma staff are compliant with wearing and using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning/disinfecting all surfaces, equipment and utensils before, after and anything in between, but use approved cleaning products that are kind to our environment.
We daily practice high due diligence.
