Jojoba wax is extracted from the seed of the jojoba tree.  It is said that the wax ester is the most similar to the oils found naturally in the skin (sebum) and when applying, can make the skin believe that it is getting enough oil thus balancing your natural skin oil production preventing oily skin.

Containing Vitamin E and B aswell as minerals like zinc, copper and chromium nourishes and protects the skin while the anti-inflammatory properties of jojoba soothes the skin, reducing redness and itching, helping with skin issues like psoriasis and acne.

Jojoba wax is a great ingredient to add to any hair care product as it moisturizes and conditions the hair, leaving it more manageable and tangle free, alternatively Jojoba oil is antifungal and naturally rich in minerals making it useful in controlling dandruff and dry scalps.

This odourless wax makes a useful alternative to beeswax.

Common uses: Moisturizer, Make-up remover, Lip balm, Hair conditioner, Shave prep, Massage oil, Creams etc
